We did really well. We had a nice lunch of gyros and nuggets (of course) in SLC.
The biggest problem was that that we only had one window seat.
We had a drawing, the four kids who wanted the seat entered. We drew them in order of time at the window seat. 1st Abby, 2nd Miles, 3rd Oliver last Felix.
Then with our amazing" luck" we got another row with no window!
Really?
Really.
But luckily we sat by some super duper nice people who actually offered up their window seats. Just a word of advice, when you are on a plane, BE a super duper nice person!
So we got two window seats and we traded around.
The nice lady next to me said my children were very well behaved. that is such a relief to hear.
It is so interesting to think how bored I would be if I was by myself for four hours on a plane. But with three of five kids to take care of I don't worry about getting bored. Especially with Miles having a short in the wire of his headphones, and letting me know he couldn't hear every 3-5 minutes. Time to invest in some headphones!
Felix took a good nap, after complaining he wanted to sit by dad. He slept most of the flight. Poor Abby just fell sleep at the end and was a little groggy when we needed to get off.
But we made it all fine in the end to ATL
