Just like their dad

As of late, we enjoy a new skill.

Naming cars. 

It started with the Chevy Camaro, because Oliver liked it and then Felix and Miles liked it too. 

Now every time we see a Chevy Camaro everyone needs to make a comment, "CHEVY CAMARO!!!!!"  Then followed with a brief yet energetic description. 

Then we moved onto identifying all the Fiats we see. And there are a lot of Fiats. 

And now we can impress our friends (like dear Henry who is moving home in a few days). With Felix naming on sight, Fiats, Chevys, Kias, Mitsubishi (the snowflake one), Chery, Renault (the diamond one), Toyota (the bullfighting one), Volkswagon, Peugeot, Mini Cooper (it has wings), Citroen, BMW, police car. Now we have a fun times driving around using all our knowledge and getting closer to Jamison's amazing talent of identifying cars only by their headlights.

(Present Day - 5/30/14)

Today I just had to laugh at Felix.  He was naming the cars as per usual, and then stopped and chuckled to himself.  "That's not a Peugeot, it's a Citroen.  Peugeot, Citroen.  They aren't even close!"  This from a 4-year old. 

Yes they are both French cars, but one is a Lion symbol, and the other is two chevron symbols on top of each other.  So obviously, not even close!



I think these boys are so funny together.  And it is awesome to have them teach the older ones about cars too.  Oliver and Grace didn't know about Mitsubishis until Felix taught them.  It was fun to have Felix teach Grace (our resident linguist and Portuguese master) how to pronounce Mit-su-bi-shi.
